In this second session for the "Greener Together: China-Nordic Dialogue on Carbon Neutrality" webinar series, our speakers will introduce what ESG reporting entails.
It will look at what impacts the EU regulations on reporting will have on your China operations and it will outline the steps that need to be taken to prepare for these changes as well as the impact on Chinese/Nordic companies.
Reporting on non-financial items, known as ESG reporting (Environment, Social and Governance) is becoming increasingly important both in the Nordics and in China. Even though it is still only mandatory for large companies in Europe to make comprehensive ESG reports, regulations such as the EU Supply Chain Act increases the need also for smaller companies to understand the concept of ESG reporting. If approached right, ESG reporting can be a powerful tool for companies to manage risks and get market benefits.
