In times of dynamic geopolitics, ever-shorter attention spans, fake news and a complex stakeholder universe, an organization's reputation is more valuable than ever. What reputation is, how to build it and what needs to be done to promote and protect it?
In collabration with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China, Royal Danish Consulate in Shanghai, Innovation Centre Denmark, and FinnCham Shanghai, we are happy to invite NBA members to join this seminar in Shanghai to learn more about:
• What is reputation and what makes it so valuable? Why is it so quick to destroy and why does it take so long to build? Short theory and thinking on this topic, and illustration with examples of balanced and controversial reputations.
• Cases in which a corporate reputation has been destroyed, especially in the China context - this discussion will bring in dynamic geopolitics as a dimension that can lead to the need for crisis management. What crises are "home-made?" And how can cultural insensitivities turn into a storm? What are cycles of corporate crises and crisis types?
• Finally, some examples of crisis moments that have turned into opportunities to reinvent reputation will be shared. This discussion will bring in examples in which a reputation has been rebuilt and how that was done.
