We are delighted to invite you to the Norway-China Green Transition Forum 2025, a high-level event designed to foster stronger collaboration between Norway and China in the transition toward a sustainable, green future. Organized by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai, Innovation Norway, and the Norwegian Business Association China, with support from the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing, this forum will take place on September 11, 2025, in Shanghai.
Building upon the momentum generated by the Norwegian Prime Minister's visit to China in 2024, which highlighted the commitment to deepening bilateral collaboration on shared sustainability goals, the forum will bring together leaders from Norwegian and Chinese companies, policymakers, and innovators to explore opportunities for cooperation in green technologies across key sectors. The forum's primary focus areas include environmentally friendly maritime transportation, e-mobility and energy solutions, as well as sustainable practices in manufacturing, environmental technology, and agriculture.
The forum aims to promote meaningful dialogue and strategic partnerships by facilitating the exchange of ideas, strategies, and solutions to global environmental challenges. Highlighting success stories and practical opportunities, the forum will emphasize shared objectives in combating climate change and accelerating the journey towards a low-carbon economy.
We are honored to have Mr. Tobias F. Svenningsen, Norway's Consul General in Shanghai, attending the forum, alongside key representatives from Chinese government bodies and industry leaders from both countries.
