We are pleased to invite you to the Jiangnan Green Shipping Day scheduled on Monday, 28th February in Shanghai. The event is organized by Innovation Norway with support from Consulate General in Shanghai and Norwegian Business Association China.

The full day program will be hosted and taking place at the Jiangnan Shipbuilding Industry in Shanghai. The day starts with a tour of the Shipyard and UECC vessel, followed by lunch and industrial seminar in the afternoon with dinner & networking reception in the evening.

Jiangnan Shipyard is a historic shipyard in China, the shipyard has been state-owned since its founding in 1865 and is the birthplace of China's national industry and has long history on shipbuilding, offshore engineering, and steel structure construction.

The full day event aims to create a valuable platform for the key stakeholders within the Maritime Industry in both countries to share insights and exploring avenues for business collaboration.

The event welcomes high-profile speaker from Norwegian Maritime related Associations, leading Norwegian companies within the industry as well as expert from Jiangnan Shipyard. It expected to welcome over 70 high level key stakeholders from the maritime Industries from both sides, including key personnel from all relevant departments of Jiangnan Shipbuilding Industry.

China as the largest shipbuilder in the world need to keep up with the decarbonisation demanded by the international shipping industry. Norway as a maritime nation, has built up wide-ranging know-how on sustainable ocean technologies and can be a reliable partner for China in the green shift & sustainable future, with its extensive experiences from being a pioneer in Green Maritime Solutions.

The full day event is pined on Monday, 28th February at Jiangnan shipyard. Transportation to and from the Shipyard will be arranged for the participants leaving from the Main Entrance of Bund Centre. All the participants are required to show green code and travel code upon arrival. Depending on the situation, you may be asked to take 48hr COVID – 19 test and bring with you onsite.

All the participating companies can provide a one-page company introduction in Chinese including pictures and logo. This will be printed in a delegation folder and handed out to the participants at the registration desk.

Each participating company can join with up to 2 representatives. Deadline for registration as participant, as well as input to delegation folder is February 15th.
