The global economy is stumbling with rising commodity price, supply chain disruption, slow economic growth, and most importantly, a tremendous amount of uncertainty that arising both locally and globally. The Chinese economy is no exception.

One and a half years into its 14th Five-year plan, China's economic growth is facing headwinds with only 0.4% growth in 2022Q2, the lowest since 2020Q2. While the overall growth of the Chinese economy is recovering, private consumption is still lagging behind. Nevertheless, as the world's second largest economy, as well as the world's largest market for several sectors, China still offers enormous opportunities to global business.
