Moller - Maersk, giving an insightful presentation on the European Business in China Position Paper 2025/2026, bringing you in-depth insights and interactive discussions to help Nordic enterprises grasp the latest market dynamics.
With over two decades of experience in China-Europe economic and trade cooperation, Mr. Eskelund will interpret the core content of the Position Paper, integrate the latest foreign investment policies from the Beijing Two Sessions, and share valuable insights on how European enterprises - including Nordic companies - can seize opportunities and navigate the future business environment in China during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030).
The European Business in China Position Paper 2025/2026 serves as the cornerstone of the European Chamber's annual advocacy efforts. It puts forward more than 1,100 constructive recommendations to optimize China's business environment and calls on policymakers to promote a more productive development model through the 15th Five-Year Plan.

President of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China , North Asia Chief Representative for A.P. Moller - Maersk
Jens Eskelund was born in 1970 in Aarhus, Denmark. He holds an MA in philosophy
and has studied at University of Aarhus and University of Texas at Austin. He has
also pursued studies in Chinese at Renmin University in Beijing. Coming to Beijing as
a student in 1998, Jens Eskelund began his career in China as Commercial Officer at
the Danish Embassy to China before taking on a position in marketing for Maersk
Line in Beijing in 2000. He has since held positions as General Manager for Public
Affairs for Maersk Line in China, Director of Public Affairs for North Asia and later as
Managing Director of Maersk China Ltd. before assuming his present role as North
Asia Chief Representative for A.P. Moller - Maersk. Primary focus areas comprise
engaging government entities, institutions and trade associations on matters of
policy, regulatory environment and business development on behalf of the
companies within the Maersk Group. Jens Eskelund is a former Chairman of the
Danish Chamber of Commerce in China as well as Vice President of the EU Chamber
of Commerce in China.
Jens Eskelund is married and has two sons.

硕士学位。彦辞先生于 1998 年来中国人民大学进修汉语，随后在丹麦王国驻华大使馆担任商务
官，并于 2000 年加入马士基(中国)航运有限公司担任市场经理。此后，他先后担任马士基航运大
中华区公共事务总经理、北亚区公共事务总监及马士基(中国) 有限公司总裁。彦辞先生现任马士基
集团北亚区首席代表，代表集团各公司关注相关政府、机构和行业协会的政策、监管环境及业务发
展事宜。此外，彦辞曾担任中国丹麦商会主席和中国欧盟商会副主席。
彦辞先生已婚，有二子。
