Curtis Baker is the Asia Pacific Regional Inclusion, Diversity & Equity (ID&E) and Employee Experience (EX) Lead reporting directly to the Chief Inclusion Officer.

In this combined role, Curtis is responsible for driving and implementing the Inclusion & Diversity + Employee Experience strategy and providing expertise, consultation and support to business, functional, and ERG leaders and EX change champions in the region. He drives the social component of Dow’s ESG strategy and growth into the region while amplifying globally the voices from Asia Pacific.

In his scope, he collaborates with Dow businesses and functions on inclusion and employee experience, that lead to measurable results and long-term sustainable culture change. He also manages relationship support for I&D + EX partnerships representing Dow externally consistent with the region’s outreach, thought leadership initiatives and ambitions.

He holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a DEI for HR certification from Cornell University. Externally, he is an advisor for IPWS (International Professional Women’s Society-SH), Out & Equal APAC Council and named Top DEI Leaders by sHero China. Also is the 2023 He for She Recipient from IPWS. Prior to joining Dow, he was with The Walt Disney Company China for 8 years in HR and lastly leading DEI for Shanghai Disney Resort.

Michelle Eriksen has worked at Jotun Performance Coatings for 16 years. Michelle Eriksen is currently based in Shanghai, China working as marketing director for Northeast Asia, where she is responsible for Jotun’s protective, marine and powder coating business in the region. Additionally, Michelle has been a board member of NBA Shanghai (Norwegian Business Association) since 2023.
She started her career at Jotun’s headquarters in Norway where she has worked as an R&D Chemist for five years, before moving into marketing where she worked as product manager, marketing manager and director of solutions and communications.
Michelle attended university in the USA and Norway, and she holds a master’s degree in materials engineering with a specialization in electrochemistry and corrosion.

Yin Ge is a senior partner with Han Kun Law Offices and a renowned legal expert on asset management and financial services in China. Yin used to work at top-tier international law firms for many years. Yin obtained an LL.M. degree with Honor from Cornell Law School. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and PRC Bar.

Yin is an Asia-Pacific Leading Counsel recognized by Legal 500 for Investment Funds and Banking & Finance areas. She has been awarded as China’s Top 15 Asset Management Lawyers for 2021 by LEGALBAND, China’s Best Female Lawyers for 2021 by Asian Legal Business/ALB, and China’s Top 15 Female Lawyers for 2021 by LEGALBAND. She’s listed as 2023/2024 China’s Highly Regarded Lawyer for asset management and finance areas by IFLR 1000.

Yin is a frequent lecturer and popular speaker at leading global forums including World Economic Forum, OMFIF Global Finance Forum, Greenwich Economic Forum, Luxemburg RMB Forum, etc. She is the founder of HerGrowth, the biggest and most influential women empowerment organization in China’s investment and asset management communities.

Shengming Liu, an associate professor at the School of Management, Fudan University. His main research areas are Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. His research interests include leadership, gender bias, career development, and the application of new technologies in organizations. He has published papers in high-quality academic journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Management Studies. Liu serves as an editorial board member for Management and Organization Review, a council member of the Shanghai Society of Social Psychology and has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has also won the Excellent Scholar award from the Alibaba Huoshui Project and the first prize in the Fudan University Young Teacher Teaching Contest.

Dr Polly Ng is a passionate firm believer of people, diversity and collaboration for value creation and sustainability. She served as a global and regional business leader for Fortune 500 MNCs and local Chinese companies with full P&L responsibility across different countries in various IT and digital technology sectors for over 25 years.

Currently, Polly leads BWSea Technology Group to develop AI technologies and solutions for offshore aquaculture to make aquaculture simple and sustainable for human happiness. She is also the founder of Global Women Connect, a not-for-profit global platform for people to share, learn, inspire, and grow together with a mission to unleash the potential of women in different stages of life.

Besides GWC, she co-founded Hong Kong Youth Service Leader Award which is an NGO in Hong Kong SAR focusing on developing young talents to provide and lead social services to the community. She also serves as the national judge of the youth social entrepreneurship competition for Enactus China (www.enactus.org) and now E-YOUTH in China.

Dr Ng is awarded as the ‘Outstanding Woman Leader of the Year 2022’ by the Women Empowerment Council and the ‘ESG She Power Female Trailblazer of the Year 2024’ by The China Association for the Promotion of Investment in China. She is also appointed as the adjunct professor for The Healthcare Big Data Research Center (A government funded research center in Qingdao University) in 2022. Currently she is nominated to be the Honorary Fellow by the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Polly holds a PhD degree with the University of Nottingham UK, a global EMBA degree (in the Dean’s list) and a BBA degree with the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Jill is the finalist for 2016 Australia China Young Alumni of the year and top 100 Gen T in China by Asia Tatler in 2019. In 2020, Jill was awarded ’Social Impact Award’ at AmCham Future Leaders of the Year Award and she was selected as the top 25 Finalists for the 2022 WE Empower UN SDG Challenge in 2022. Jill was also in the expert group for UN-Women to inform the substantive preparations for the sixty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67).

She holds Bachelor of Commerce from Latrobe University, Master of Applied Finance from Monash University and MBA from Melbourne Business School. Jill also completed her Gender Equality Program Certification at INSEAD in 2019 and Executive Certificate for Special Management for Non-Profit at Harvard Business School in 2023.
