The Norwegian Winter Market held in 2022 was a great success, with 20 Norwegian brands and over 100k+ public visitors engaged during the two-day session. The market gathered a great number of renowned Norwegian brands and brought the most authentic Norwegian products and culture to the Chinese consumers.


In September 2023, the Norwegian Market will be back again!


Norwegian Business Association China, in collaboration with Consulate General in Shanghai and Innovation Norway are planning to co-organize the Norwegian Autumn Market – Norway Now in September, to engage even more people and to further promote the Norwegian culture, lifestyle and quality product to the local consumers.


The Autumn Market will still be taking place in BFC, and during the month of September, BFC's own weekend market "Feng Jing Weekend market" will be arranged in parallel with the Norwegian market. BFC's weekend market is a well-known spot in Shanghai, and the market was awarded the 'TOP 20 Hot Spots' by "The People's Daily" in 2020. The traffic for the Autumn Market is expected to be even higher than the Winter Market in February 2022.


The venue of the Autumn Market will be located at the outdoor central garden of the Bund Financial Center, same arene as with the Winter market and right beside the "BFC weekend market" (Illustration map at the bottom).


According the BFC's estimation, the expected flow of outreach is approximately 200k+ public visitors during the weekend. The consumer portraits could be segmented into consumers with interests in Fashion and lifestyle, consumers who are seeking for products of high quality and design, family with kids, food lovers, and consumers who are passionate for Nordics or Nordic lifestyle. Relevant companies, distributors, and business partners will also be invited and the Norwegian & expats communities in Shanghai are also welcomed.


The event will be promoted through the Team Norway's social media platforms as well as the solid network of BFC PR & Digital Promotion Network.

There are 3 ways that companies can participate

1. On-site Stand both days – RMB 8000 (Indicative price)

The stands are located beside the fountain and are customized for Norwegian consumer brands that offer on-site sale and products display opportunity. Each of the enrolled company will get a stand including logo plate, backdrop, table, and chairs. The company can further decorate the inner space of the stand at their own expense if needed.

In addition, to better help your brand maximize brand exposure, we will also offer the stage area and the LED screen free of charge. Brands can use the area within the designated timeslot, and the suggested activities could be e.g. mini games / interactive activity with consumers etc. Each brand would have 30min – 1 hour depending on the total number of participating companies. (Please note that the usage of the stage is tentative and subject to final approve from the BFC)

Logistics with regards to the products deliveries and onsite management needs to be arranged by the companies themselves.

2. On-site Mini-Exhibition both days - RMB 5000 (Indicative price)

The on-site Mini-Exhibition are located around the fountain and are designed to offer Norwegian Industrial companies to showcase their services or industrial products via a customized promotion wall where desired content can be displayed. Each of the enrolled company will get one standard sized wall, where both text, image & video (LED Screen attached to the wall) content can be displayed.


In addition, to better help your brand maximize brand exposure, we will also offer the stage area and the LED screen free of charge. Brands can use the area within the designated timeslot, and the suggested activities could be e.g. mini games / interactive activity with consumers etc. Each brand would have 30min – 1 hour depending on the total number of participating companies. (Please note that the usage of the stage is tentative and subject to final approve from the BFC)

3. On-Site Stand for Both Days & Utilization of the BFC VIP Lounge for Business Promotion – RMB 20,000 (Indicative price)

In addition to participating in the market event, companies also have the opportunity to make use of the BFC VIP Lounge to host public activities for public exposure and business promotion. The BFC VIP Lounge is a luxurious and comfortable space situated at the heart of the BFC Shopping Mall, accommodating up to 100 people. With this option, the company can reserve the venue for a duration of 1.5 hours for any desired activities. (Please note that this option is only available if a minimum level of interest from the companies is met.)

The Stands and Mini-Exhibition are located right beside the main entrance of the BFC shopping mall, and the BFC Weekend market is located beside the Norwegian market as illustrated below
