We are delighted to invite you to the Norwegian Seafood Gala 2026, an annual celebration showcasing the very best of Norwegian seafood, culinary craftsmanship and culture, while bringing together the Norwegian and Chinese business communities.

Under this year's theme, East Meets West, the Gala celebrates the connections between Norway and China through food, culture and shared experiences. In an elegant gala setting, Norwegian and Chinese business leaders, officials, partners and friends will come together for a memorable evening of exceptional cuisine, live entertainment and meaningful connections.

At the heart of the evening will be a specially curated five-course Norwegian seafood dinner, showcasing the exceptional quality,

diversity and character of premium seafood from Norway.

Returning to Shanghai for this year's Gala is acclaimed Norwegian chef Aleksander Vartdal, Silver Winner at Chef of the Year 2023 and Culinary Director in Thon Hotels. Together with his culinary team travelling from Norway, Chef Vartdal will once again lead the kitchen and create a menu exclusively for the occasion, bringing Norwegian ingredients and culinary traditions to the table with his own contemporary interpretation.

The evening will be accompanied by live entertainment, featuring a special performance by the Oscar Andreas Haug Trio. Their music will add a distinctive Norwegian character to the evening and create the perfect atmosphere for this special gathering.
