Shijiazhuang, the capital city of the Hebei province, is the political, economic, technological, financial and cultural heart of the Hebei province. Shijiazhuang has a GDB of 593.5 billion RMB (2020) and is historically known as a transportation hub of China. It is well-known for information technology, pharmacy, advanced equipment manufacturing, commerce & logistic industries. In addition, Shijiazhuang is the only official lifetime host of the China International Digital Economy Expo (CIDEE).

Shijiazhuang is currently developing a CBD zone, which will become a national innovation and development zone, a key connecting point for the belt and Road policy-related industries, and a Beijing-Tianjin industry transfer center. Shijiazhuang is approximately a 75-minute train ride from Beijing.
